Shirley Jane Schenck, 33, died at 4 a.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital where she had been a patient for six months. She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Schenck. The couple were married in 1954. The deceased attended Trinity United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Byron Cox American Legion Auxiliary. Born on May 5, 1935, she was the daughter of Homer and Juanita Todd. The mother survives and resides in Crawfordsville. She had worked for R.R. Donnelley & Sons, and before her illness, was employed as a secretary for the paint contracting firm of Orville Clark. Other survivors include two brothers, Lester and Ricky Todd, both of Crawfordsville, and two sisters Sherry Jo Todd and Sandra Deckard. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Carlile officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.
